it would be nice if you could use more than 1 channel id or have it join the default voice channel. i'm not planning on making it public but it would be nice to have it on some friends servers

it appears that internally the bot is fetching a channel then joining it rather than waiting for a !summon input. while i'm not quite sure how to fix this (i'm terrible at java), you can check out a release of a project i made quite some time ago: SongBirb.

https://github.com/wibbuffey/SongBirb/releases/tag/v1.1.6

the only reason i give you this old of a release is because the current version of the bot (v1.2.3 or v2.0.0-pre1) has multiple custom tracklists, which is clearly not what this bot was made to do. if you are interested in that version of the bot:

https://github.com/wibbuffey/SongBirb/releases/tag/v1.2.3
(or, if you just want to invite the currently running version)
https://bit.ly/SongBirb

Setup Instructions

if you would like to set up v1.1.6 of the bot, edit songs.txt to whatever tracklist you wish, and if you would like to set up versions v1.2.2 or v1.2.3, then modify the tracks/ directory and the tracks option in config.json. and make sure to add your token!

oh and sorry for the self-promo i just thought it would help
