Quick summary

Thanks for reading my topic.
Here use desktop resolution 1920X1080.
RPCS3 configured to use resize game window to 1920X1080 so part of the window is hidden in taskbar if starting an game in windowed mode.
Thus need double click in window game title for maximize and show totally the window.
An option to when starting an game in windowed mode maximized would help.
Have an nice week.

@dcon03
Thank you very much for replying, but not is exactly it.

However I want start games in windowed mode, but every time I need to double-click to maximize.
RPCS3 not has an option to start in windowed mode maximized. Only has start in full screen mode.

This feature does already exist, at least on Windows. RPCS3 remembers the size of the game window that you've used previously. So when you start a game, maximise it, and from then on out all your games will run maximised by default. That's how I run all my games.

You'll have to disable "Resize game window on boot" in the emulator tab of the config window in order for it to work, which I believe is the default, but it sounds like you changed that. If you have any custom configs for games, you might have to disable that option for them individually as well.

Here is Linux Lubuntu ( Ubuntu using LXQT ).
Disabled "resize game window on boot" not start maximized and not save window position.
Perhaps window maximized only works in windows because the OS save the window position.

If you're using wayland it may not be possible to implement this. Wayland has some ridiculous restrictions on window shape management where user input is required for some things.

It's absurd wayland not allowing an software maximizing the window.
See the link
https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/ai-automation-incompatibility-with-wayland/56768
Here use X11. I use an Geforce 600 series video card and using in wayland mode not has nvidia control panel and not any status information about the GPU too. For others nvidia video cards using nvidia driver current version is possible control the GPU using command line, but noy any control panel. Nvidia support for Linux is strange.

"Wayland has some ridiculous restrictions on window shape management where user input is required for some things."
If for implement in RPCS3 automatic window maximized need much time for coding for both X11 and wayland ... well ... is better an pause about it until that happen changes in wayland code allowing window maximized and I and other users continue manually maximizing the window.
Some users think that to implement a new feature is simple. However it can be a lot of time and work to keep the code running with each new version.

Hey your latest RSX coding has done considerably better performance. I see my GPU doing the same work without issues and slightly less GPU usage even being an Geforce GT 640 using Vulkan.
About the very high number of optimizations that are always being done not will be surprise if the emulator will fly.

Have an nice week.
