The README contains

This issue will likely be fixed by switching entirely to MJPEG instead of the raw YUV video format for streaming video. See issues ElliotKillick/qubes-video-companion#16 and ElliotKillick/qubes-video-companion#13.

But both of those issues have been closed, so the statement seems out of date.
