Hi @mmcky , the third problem I find is that

• all MYST lectures with footnotes do not have the title Footnotes

For example, please find a screenshot for lecture 04_linear_algebra (left: RST, right: MYST):

The same issue occurs in all lectures with footnotes.

This issue still exists. Also there are double square brackets for the numbering:

[mmcky]

The current implementation matches the html. The double square bracket is resolved in download notebooks.

I think this can be closed and will re-open if we get requests for a footnote section.
