I have a question since I'm not familiar conferences.

Would the idea for these to be to gain awareness of the project by speaking on efforts that have been done and what's next at a conference? Or is there some other way conference's might support us that I'm not aware of?

This is more about drafting our happy path for outreach based on: what we want to do, who will we focus on (new contributors, bring designers, newbies to a11y, existing developers, etc etc).

Some thoughts:

  • conferences: there are plenty python related ones, accessibility focused ones and those niche ones I kind of bump into. I would love y'all to participate in one/some of those 😜
  • sprints: I want to build on all the knowledge Isabela has accumulated and find innovative ways to involve folks and make us productive (also we have a couple of people joining internally who can help with logistics and take some weight off the planning)
