Why was such a great project abandoned? While the mobile app works awesome, the Linux app is hopeless. It makes me not feel like paying for the PRO version because it is not worth it. Please make an equivalent for Linux. A simple and clear application for writing.

Pure Writer Desktop is currently basic, providing only two-directions real-time synchronous editing for your current article. If you are going to pay JUST for this Desktop, I strongly recommend that you reconsider it.
If the desktop app was better I would choose to pay for the Android app. However, if I have to pay just for a mobile app that is great, I'd rather leave the money for myself. It would be different if the app synced files in a more friendly format. However, writing longer texts only on a smartphone misses the point. This is my opinion. Therefore, the unavailability of a good Linux app is a big minus.
I know that there are a lot of PRO features in the mobile app that you pay for. But for me there are other priorities and that's why I called for a desktop program.
