No,GitHub is not completely banned in China.In some network environments,it can still be used,and most developers will use a VPN to access GitHub,just like me.

Okay, So what do you really want them. What is your plan to improve the developer experience for Chinese people.

I have already thought of some methods,such as creating a Chinese mirror site that includes translated documents,etc.

I wonder if there any other methods. I was may thinking if gitlab is an better alternative. Sure I can easily create a mirror for an Website which is easily accessebly by Chinese people. But it would be hard for me to manage issues and pull requests from 2 different repos

Although it may not be appropriate to say so,GitLab has a lot of controversy in China.I think we could set up a language branch on the official website?English could serve as the template,and other languages could be updated by other people.
