Google Drive Element Error in IE #771

Found a bug in: http://domain/bower_components/google-drive/demo.html

The demo runs fine in Chrome (duh) but in IE I get:
"Object doesn't support property or method 'fire'" and the template is not rendering correctly, see image below. {{name}} should not be visible.

Also the demo is running on Azure Websites and edited with Visual Studio Online "Monaco".
