Description

In #5173 a user found a mis-typing in our TypeScript types. To make sure we do not regress in this regard, we should have an existing "regression test"-suite that contains TypeScript files that must compile on a build. This is similar to how DefinitelyTyped tests their implementation: https://github.com/Microsoft/dtslint#write-tests
