Is this still getting worked on? #218
Comments
Not at the moment, but we hope to revive it soon. |
Hope so too ^^ |
Revive, please! |
Welp, by know I've learnt to work without it, but I can imagine it to be useful to a lot of people. |
hi folks, thanks a lot, |
Not soon, but soon-ish. We're heads down on getting 2.0 and tools out the door, and then we'll get back to Designer. |
aswe have the 2.0 rc, will you come back to the designer? :-) |
very soon :) |
Any news??? |
It's one of these cases where big releases and dates keep the project on hold. We're very close to releasing 2.0 though and I'm extremely eager to to get it going again. I did get it up and running on the latest Electron a few weeks ago. We'll start porting to Polymer 2.0 after I/O I think. |
Nice to here something... If I can, I also want to help! The only thing I have to complain, would be nice if we here whats going on inside the Polymer Team... Now we have again moths, where nobody knows whats up to 2.0 |
Has porting work already started? |
Hi everyone, is there already a time schedule available when this project gets revived and an official version is available? Our company would be very interested to make use of a UI designer for web pages. We're building our web applications with Polymer and this tool would definitely make life easier for some people's daily business. There's also a Polymer designer available here https://polymer-designer.appspot.com/ Is this still in development? |
@cboehler , Same for me. I want to use the editor inside something in which the user can build their own "Views" made out of preloaded elements. Like some kind of dashboard. Im especially interested when this editor is rebuild with the lean polymer 2.0 approach. Im keeping my eye on this for a long time. I really like the Polymer 2.0 approach which doesn't feel forced upon you. 👍 Great job at Google for that! I think there is alot demand for such editor. Especially if the whole editor itself is made out of Polymer 2.0 elements! |
I did update to Polymer 2.0 after I/O, and of course then the Polymer Summit crept up. Luckily things look clear after the summit. I'm making time for this. |
@justinfagnani That sounds really great 👍 If there's a need for some preliminary testing in a productive environment please let me know. We're really looking forward to this :) |
News? |
Now that Polymer 3.0 is out, is there a roadmap or any way the community can help bring Designer to life? |
This "soon" will never happen we are may 2019 .. |
@justinfagnani We are already in 2021 😔😥 will it work with Lit? |
