Add double tap to toggle, leave press or hold unchanged

Describe the request.

I think it would be nice to have an option to use double tap to toggle instead of a single tap, allowing a button to be used in both tap and toggle modes. This would allow for better sneaking, as you could hold if you want to crouch for a short duration, or double tap to hold until released.
