Please accept my apologies for the delay in my response, I had been enjoying some time away during the holidays, and now I have a large backlog of requests to process. The good news is that I have just published Firemote version v4.1.7 which contains your app shortcut request.

Please note: I am unable to download this app on my Apple TV in my region, so I was unable to test the new button properly. Please let me know if you experience any issues.
