Background information
In the sister story (https://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/182842798) we created the feature to directly jump to the vetting type that was nudged at. However, the Identity might want to choose a different vetting option. This story will go into detail in how that feature should be expressed in SelfService.

Disable the nudge
The nudge is stored in session. When the Identity disregards the nudge, this session value should be disabled. How and where the identity is able to trigger deletion of the nudge is open for debate. We discussed a link on the first page of the 'nudged at' vetting type. For example when doing a RA desk vetting nudge: the token activation screen (the one with the activation code) should get a 'want to use a different activation method?' link.

Link back to the vetting type overview?
What should happen next is still open for discussion.

  1. Go back to the vetting type selection screen?
  2. Go back to the second factor & recovery token list action screen?
  3. Create a nudge to another activation method?
