That would be amazing:

My usual workflow is to copy an existing yml or md I know resembles the one I want to edit, then adjust it.. Right now I still have to copy an existing one manually which means I need to go to the github purl and md pages first..

You're thinking of this config you just added, right?

https://github.com/OBOFoundry/purl.obolibrary.org/pull/654/files

For the audience I have in mind, I'm worried that will lead to a mess of copy-paste errors.

It would be straightforward to add this stuff to the default template, if we're sure that people will usually want it:

- prefix: /releases/
   replacement: https://github.com/EBISPOT/clyh_ontology/releases/download/v

 - prefix: /tracker/
   replacement: https://github.com/EBISPOT/clyh_ontology/issues

 - prefix: /about/
   replacement: http://www.ontobee.org/ontology/CLYH?iri=http://purl.obolibrary.org/obo/

 - prefix: /
   replacement: https://github.com/EBISPOT/clyh_ontology/releases/download/current/

Less straightforward would be a small set of template options, all using the new config form data.

That works for me! Thanks! :) Its nearly always that exact pattern.. I would just, by default, not redirect prefix : / to release, but to master (although I wish release was the norm).
