I bought a full-size SD card holder, and you cannot get it and the two DE9 connectors inbetween the mounting holes. It also doesn't fit outside the mounting holes.
We either:
Stick with microSD
Move to full-size SD but make the card internal (i.e. not externally accessible)
Ship a second small PCB which takes a full-size SD card and sits on two 1x6 headers. These headers straddle the mounting screw, allowing the SD card to sit above the mounting screw.
It's just about doable, but it's not easy at all. A nice through-hole part, or something with at least 2mm pitch, would be much better.
