Context

When configuring stories, the published date seems to be off by one day. The GHGC team started adding "CST" to their pubDates in an attempt to fix this, which makes us think it is a timezone issue. We should investigate. This might be an issue on the veda-config side, just logging the bug in veda-ui

Here is the quote from GHGC team:

The reason CST was added was because otherwise the published date displayed is one day less than what’s added in the story mdx

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Configure data story with a pubdate
  2. See the published date displayed in the resulting data story is 1 day early
