'News' skill shows no 'gui display of station selected'

Describe the bug
asked for 'latest News' - both NPR & Fox gui was not shown
FWI-NOTE: NPR was selected even though 'Georgia Public Radio' was the web/home account skill setting

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. ask for 'the latest news'

Expected behavior
Used to get a gui of the responding station ; that was selected on the skill setting @ web/home account

Environment (please complete the following information):

• Device type: MarkII-Devkit on network cable, uSDC
• OS: default Ubuntu
• Mycroft-core version: 21.2 - yay!
• Other versions: latest 0602_08:13:31

Additional context
had just done a power-cycle , [due to a failed 'shutdown' voice command]
did the shutdown to see if there was a bug that would be cleared on power up !!! NOPE

Yeah this one is known - if you ask using a "play" command eg "play the news" you'll get the GUI (which also needs work).
If you ask using a standard intent eg "what's the news" you don't get the GUI.

Ken's starting to look at all the Common Play stuff now and will include this.

Starting to investigate whether this is an issue with a hybrid intent match vs a common play intent match. Will update ticket with progress.
