Is this project still alive? I would like to contribute since I'd like to use Mycroft on my phone without having to self-host mycroft-core. What's the state of the art, i.e. what are the things already implemented, and what are the things that need to be implemented before anything else? Could you give me some directions?
Thank you :-D

Note: I tried to ask this question on chat.mycroft.ai but nobody answered, so I posted it here

Hi, Sorry so slow in writing. Fought off a cold. So for the core project there was a seperate project started to host what another person was working on. In terms of the core, everything. The project has stalled as the person mainly working on it is, I am assume off overseas on deployment (military) or otherwise incommunicado. So there are two things to start with. Go over the core project code here. Once you get a grip of that, then I have a fork with the "latest" on the alternative core. Sorry, it is kind of vague. But such is life right now. If you would like to jump in, the project and users will be thrilled.

Hello! I am the overseas/deployed developer, and I am still here working on it! I've rewritten the core application in Kotlin, re-implemented the STT with Vosk instead of PocketSphinx, and have ported most of Padatious (intent parser) to Android. I will be going underway again soon in the near future, but I should be able to keep in better touch this time. I recommend following the aforementioned advice, but I am also happy to answer any questions about the alternative core.
