This can cause lag or even a server lockup if the database fails.

Are you experiencing lag with PlayerPoints connected to a MySQL database?

Is this something that should be handled per plugin or could it be moved to SQLibrary, which I use for my MySQL connections?

I have no idea if / when I would get around to it... so if you, or someone you know, make a PR with the necessary changes, I'd be glad to do a quick test and merge and throw it into whatever happens to be the next release.
