Clicking on a test function in the code explorer should open the Output pane to show the output that test emitted. Open the Output :: Python Test window only, not navigate to the specific output for a specific test.

User clicks with right-mouse click and then chooses 'Show Unit Test Output' to get this functionality.

Limit this to showing the output only - we can make it more complex once we see the usage and get other feedback from our users.

Test for completion:

  • When the user clicks on a test in the test explorer, and the tests have been run previously, the Output :: Python Test window is opened
