Hello. I wanted to propose creating a universal source code that would allow to become compiled on other Operating Systems (like for example Linux).

It would be also great if there would also exist pre-compiled releases for Operating Systems other them Windows.

In my modest opinion, ConEmu could become a nice tool that could help in every day work for all those who work in terminal/console in their daily basics and doesn't use Windows systems.

True.
I miss ConEmu when I have to work on Mac or Linux.

The problem is that a large part of the ConEmu source base heavily depends on Windows API.
I will probably try to create a .Net port of GUI, and with that, it would be much easier to create cross-platform builds.

As far as I remember, there are opttions to Cross-Compile.

On side, please remember to include the '-O3' parameter to Your compilator parameters to generate a maximally optimized for efficiency output
