GPS isn't really needed, unless you're going deep country. Cell phones provide excellent navigation nowadays. There are Personal Emergency Location Transmitters that require a monthly subscription.

Radios are optional, we'll be bringing two.

I'll bring extra AA and AAA batteries and a charging bank.

Solar charging may be useful, we should ask the group

Bring what's in the hygiene packing list, wet wipes if you want

I'll be bringing a team level first aid kit

Ham is heavy, bring it if you want
