What happened?

Device was working as expected, but after a power outage the values stopped reporting or are just reporting zeros.

What did you expect to happen?

Keep reporting Power consumption

How to reproduce it (minimal and precise)

Pair the device and connect a bulb or something else to it. Turn on the SSM-U01 and pair it to Z2M, then turn the bulb on. Now you can see values for power consumption on the dashboard.
Now disconnect the SSM-U01 from power (in my case by switching the fuse for the whole room), and turn it on again.
Now there are no power consumption values anymore.

SSM-U01 is on the latest firmware. I'm sure re-pairing would resolve the issue, but the SSM-U01 is in a hard to reach spot and in the next weeks the fuse will be switched a few times.
