Selection of songs you'd like to download (Shift + Select alternative)

Pain

I'd like to see a thing above the select list for playlists above ≈20 songs.

Suggested solution

It would be a text box that if you typed in something like 10 or 40-250 it would select those songs.

A possible option would be to handle it like Nuclear

I think just using the Shift + click (which is default for many OS file managers and most table software programs) should do the trick.
We want the UI to be intuitive and user might not be able to predict the functionality you mentioned
