I can't imagine I'm doing this wrong, but I keep getting the same error and can't figure out why?? I'm working in the ipython notebook.

Not your fault --- this is an intermittent bug. Sometimes it will go away if you switch to a slightly different commit.
This is probably due to a memory bug of some kind in the compiler front-end, and I've spent a lot of time trying to track it down but it is still at large.

I havne't seen this one in a while. Potentially fixed?

This is just too hard to reproduce. Hopefully some of our fixes snagged this along the way.
