I am unable to reproduce this. Please use something like suaddevent to make a sample dataset that exhibits the problem, and tell me more about the dataset that you are using.

suaddhead ns=2000 < fsismos_P0000 |sushw key=dt a=1200 | sufbpickw keyg=tracl | surange
fsismos_P0000 is a simulated cross-hole shot gather with 91 receivers (binary file) here's a Drive link

The output is 90 receivers.
