Webcam controls do not work at all - iMac M1 - Sonoma 14.6.1 (23G93) #132

Please enter the following data:

Brand: Apple
Camera: FaceTime HD Camera
Have you tried many USB ports? The camera is built-in to the iMac, not an external
CameraController Version 1.4.0 (6)

VIDEO IMAGE: displays (good)

BASIC tab: All Exposure, Image, White Balance controls - GREYED OUT - unusable
ADVANCED tab: ALL GREYED OUT (incl Powerline Frequency, Backlight Compensation, Zoom/Pan/Tilt; Focus
PREFERENCES tab: Application: Open at login - WORKS
"Read Settings" - dropdown operates, currently set to "Every 0.5 Seconds"
"Push Settings" - dropdown operates, currently set to "Every 0.5 Seconds"

PROFILE: GREYED OUT, unusable

I just read dev's comment in earlier ISSUE thread re "all greyed out":

It is normal for built-in cameras to not work, since apple doesn't allow apps to communicate directly with them.
