Context

I attempted to update the dRep metadata by editing the dRep field and submitted the updated dRep details. Although the transaction was successful, the updated dRep information did not appear immediately. Instead, it took over 1-2 minutes for the changes to reflect on the dRep details page.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Connect a wallet with a registered dRep.
  2. Update the dRep details and submit the transaction.
  3. After the transaction submission succeeds, observe the dRep details page.
  4. Notice that the updated dRep details do not appear immediately.
  5. Wait for 1-2 minutes and check the dRep details again. The updated details will then be reflected.

Actual behavior

The updated dRep details are not reflected immediately after the successful transaction submission. Instead, it takes a significant amount of time (1-2 minutes) for the changes to appear.

Expected behavior

The dRep details should be updated immediately after the transaction is successfully submitted.

Changes are display as soon as they are populated in off_chain_vote_data tables in cardano-db-sync

@MSzalowski, Does that mean the preview db-sync population is too slow, taking 3-4 minutes to update the metadata?

This is affecting the user. The user has edited the metadata, but the previous details remain displayed for 3-4 minutes. During this time, if the user updates the metadata again, what will happen?
