Nicaraguan Red Cross was dissolved in May 2023, and as such Nicaragua does not currently have a National Society and is not currently part of the International Federation.
However GO is still listing Nicaragua in the Americas region menu, and is also showing a bunch of NS data on the National Society Overview page on Country pages (without referring to the dissolution)
Need to figure out a way to make clear that Nicaragua is not a National Society (either remove it completely, or clearly label) so that the information doesn't get misinterpreted.
Approach taken by other IFRC systems
ifrc.org directory shows name of NS but only a single data point - the comment "dissolved 9 May 2023".
FDRS takes the approach that they show historic data but include the dissolution details within the NS name: "Nicaraguan Red Cross* dissolved 9 May 2023" so it's clear https://data.ifrc.org/fdrs/national-society/DNI001
GO considerations
GO needs to also either hide Nicaragua completely or clearly show the dissolution.
Of particular concern:
https://go.ifrc.org/countries/126/ns-overview/activities lists two "Active NSD funded activities" - which is confusing, as I don't believe these would still be active (partly due to expired dates and partly due to the NS no longer existing)
This does seem like another edge-case to our Country table, cc @frozenhelium@geohacker :-( - where the country still exists, of course, but the NS needs to be "deprecated".
