Wanted to start a new issue regarding adding Popcorn Time. Apparently it won't happen; #7211.

How about adding a message stating that it won't be installed, and where to find it? Not sure if the caveats stanza is the right tool for the job.

Had the brew way in mind. The below message is also shown for brew info tex.

$ brew install tex
Error: No available formula for tex
Installing TeX from source is weird and gross, requires a lot of patches,
and only builds 32-bit (and thus can't use Homebrew deps on Snow Leopard.)

We recommend using a MacTeX distribution: http://www.tug.org/mactex/

I could certainly get behind such a system. It should also work when creating casks (i.e. brew cask create popcorn-time).

Ideally, we could also use that for special cases that belong on the caskroom/versions repo but are nonetheless submitted to the main repo frequently, such as sublime-text3 and firefoxdeveloperedition.

Hi!

This is a duplicate of #5779, which is open. I'm going to close this, but discussion is welcome to continue there.
