I am a software engineer/developer and have been coding since the end of my college career at UC Santa Cruz. I have worked on numerous projects that provide usability or automation of some functionality, either to me or to other people. I have made my a blog site for board games using a Python, Mysql, Flask and Javascript stack. I have always loved the idea of revolutionizing the world, whether its through technology or science and after college, I found it through the coding/programming. The potential to provide creativity and innovation to forever change the world through a simple idea has really inspired me to create technologies to really challenge myself to really solve complex problems in society. It really feels like I hold a super power in my hands while being able to express my ideas to the public. My most recent/current project is a MERN(Mongodb, Express, React, Node) stack project and my goal for this application is to help combat college loneliness as well as helping students break the social barrier to become more engaged with one another, especially after the damage done, socially, by the covid pandemic.
