As someone who uses the clipboard manager a lot, I noticed it always takes a while to me to actually be able to see the new (really useful) close button, since it looks exactly like any other button of the bunch.

Since other people might be confused like me, my advice would be to differentiate it from the others by changing its design, like this for example

Which could also be placed on the left, just like

or maybe just left where it already is. But the left placement would be nice for two reasons:

• more consistency, I guess
• it's the position where usually 'backwards' arrows are placed

I'm not a UI designer, just my rough idea.

Thanks of your want to take it into consideration.

But on the left bottom there is the alphabet key that also closes the view.

Aah, you're right, it's just that I often use one hand and can't reach the lower left but I can press a button on the upper left. But of course it depends on the person and the screen 😁

Just thought: what about also making a standard system 'Back' (button or gesture) go back to the main layout? Though maybe Android takes it as a 'dismiss keyboard' command in most cases I suppose 🤔

I could add a background for the key though, that should help noticing it

Thanks, it would be really helpful, even if there button stays in its current spot! 🤩

By the way, what do you think about the proposed change to the history view keys in #691?

That is probably the most useful screen in the entire keyboard, and it's still improving, I love it 😌

Thanks for your work

Just a bit too big, but if you can tweak it a little I think it would fit very well!

is that a deal breaker?

Hahaha, of course not, it's amazing! Can't wait to see it in the app 🤩

To me the round one looks better, no big deal if it doesn't change color 👌
