Reminder for myself.

Implement listener interfaces once libGDX runs on LWJGL 3.3.0, which is using AL Soft 1.21.1.

Unfortunately, LWJGL 3.3.0 doesn't seem to have added bindings for the SOFT_events extension (yet?).
