[Bug]: Custom styles are reset after specifying an id #2249

Expected:
After specifying an id, all styles added to a block will persist.
Actual:
After specifying an id, all styles added to a block reset.

Steps to reproduce:

Add a new block.
Add custom styling via style manager.
Set and id via settings.
Observe that all styles reset.

Reproducible in a web page demo.
