".NET" recognized as a new sentence #7

Is it possible to include an exception to .NET? It is recognized as a sentence, thus it causes "sentence:start" and "sentence:end" to throw.
Examples that fail:

This is a sentence that fails because of .NET.
.NET is a programming language, now this sentence fails.

It also fails on:

``$HOME/.cache/Zivid/API/Log``

but this time with "sentence:uppercase".
