ERROR Unable to create ranks table

Hi, I've just started looking into Luna, The features look nice.

Trying to install Luna 2.0.14 I have encountered this error:
ERROR Unable to create ranks table

I have tried other version etc.

I am running ubuntu 20.0.4, PHP 7.4.3, apache2, mysql Ver 8.0.20-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 for Linux on x86_64 ((Ubuntu))
Browser is Chrome.

Other notes:
I created a database and user specifically for Luna (The user has all permissions on the database)
I can confirm it did create what I assume are all the other tables it needs.
All files the installer suggested have the correct permissions as well
