Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to set record video file fixed size or fixed maximum frames (either will work), and drop old frames.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I couldn't find alternative option.

Additional context
On mac there is no v4l2 loopback, but I want to look into some frames periodically (dropping frames does not matter).
If I use mp4 record option it will eventually fill up my storage, since I want to run application for long time like few days.
