Make Scrapping Simulator Multiplayer.
- Scrapping Simulator unfortunately will not be a Multiplayer or Co-op game, there has been a lot of thought about it, however the game is in no way structured to support Multiplayer or Co-op and some aspects seem plausible for Multiplayer or Co-op however most of the concept of the game just does not support it. On top of this I am sorely lacking the experience to be able to throw each and every Major feature into my first game, without expecting Major Complications.
Add more objects like phones, fridges, radios etc.
- Items will be coming to the game incrementally for now, based on community engagement and want. Keep an eye out on our Discord for any polls that may be released in regards to what the next E-Waste object added should be and many other things.
Add Cables/Wires to E-Waste Items.
- There are plans to add Copper Wires to Scrapping Simulator, the issue I am facing is how to make it performant (doesn't cause FPS Issues), While also having an effective and efficient way about Implementing Wires into not only All Existing Objects, but also a way to make adding New items to the game a breeze, without meticulously placing & modelling each and every single wire by hand.
Add Drivable Vehicles.
- There will be drivable vehicles once the Open World Map is released or at least very near to release, the current map is only small and adding vehicles would be completely redundant as you would get from one side of the map to the next all before getting out of first gear.
Expand the map and allow us to go over the River.
- With an Open World style Map planned for the future, there is little to no benefit in wasting precious time on expanding the current map, sure I will make improvements and optimizations, however dedicating a month or more to overhaul this map would just be a huge waste of time when the whole thing will be replaced with a bigger and better version in the end anyway.
Add carriable Bins/Boxes to carry E-Waste Items.
- There are plans to add more ways of transporting multiple items, there is currently the 'Ingot Carry Box' and the 'Trolley', though I agree there should be another way to transport smaller objects like RAM Sticks, HDDs etc which again will be something to add for the future.
Allow us to keep all Chips, Screws, PCBs and other Inner Components to Fix, Repair and Sell the fixed E-Waste items for more profit than Scrapping.
- I agree this would be a really nice touch, but in the sense of being an E-Waste Scrapper for the Sole Purpose of Recovering, Stockpiling & Selling Raw Materials was and remains my primary focus for the scope of Scrapping Simulator, going the above suggested route, would turn the game into more a 'Tech Repair Shop Simulator' game rather than the 'Scrapping Simulator' game I aim to accomplish, as 'Scrapping' as a whole In Scrapping Simulator would become completely useless if it were more profitable to Repair and Re-Sell the items.
Add Translations to the game.
- Translations should be coming to the game once it nears its release date, I have had a couple of people offering to do Translations though unfortunately the game is in no way yet setup to easily translate it and I would have to send the translator hundreds of different scripts that have thousands of lines of code that have text somewhere in them that needs translating, so before I can even begin to start the translation process I will need to create and setup an entire System for it, or find a Paid asset that can do this for me.
