  • Deploy solr to a standard location /var/www/solr
  • Better document where to put the search schema when generated ./solr/example...?
  • improve documentation: how to regenerate search schema, and how to edit it ./manage.py build_solr_schema
    • Where does this file live
    • for instance I want to add Course.desc and Note.text
    • optimize the solr ps (less than 2 - 3 sec).
