Image quality is rather mediocre once a pdf is processed #149
Comments
Hi, Thank you for reporting the problem. What version of Converseen are you using? Have you tried changing the resolution as reported here? Unfortunately, Converseen currently relies on ImageMagick, which, in turn, relies on Ghostscript for processing. As a result, the program may not be 100% reliable in this area, although it should work well for basic use. |
Hi, I am using the latest Windows version downloadable from sourceforge - 0.11.0.1 |
Thanks. The latest recommendation on how to change the resultion seems to have worked fine! |
@Faster3ck By the way, is there a way to preserve the resolution for every new pdf file? It seems to reset to its default value (96 dpi) every time I load a new file (see attached screenshot) |
That's great! :)
Thank you for reporting the problem to me, I'm working to solve the issue! |
Hi there,
Attached below is an example image obtained as result of processing an imported pdf file.
The quality conversion factor for jpeg was set at maximum level 99-100, but the visible quality is still rather mediocre.
The author of the TTR PDF To Jpeg program solved the same problem by introducing the magnification factor.
Is there any way you could do the same?
In addition to the above request, I take the opportunity to ask you to add to the rename section of the UI a button to generate random filenames.
Thanks.
