Implement Spring Effect

The native iOS messages app applies some sort of spring / bounce animation to the cells. Is this something that would be of interest to anyone? I have some thoughts on how to get it working on iOS not sure if the native android messaging app does the same. If it does not then this would be an iOS only addition. Thoughts?
