How can I make an Item that opens an inventory?

Description

I already have the item registered, and I want it to open an inventory when clicked.

I'm thinking of using LibGui, but in its wiki doesn't say anything about inventories for items, just for blocks.

Any help is welcome! I'm pretty new to modding :)
