Desired Behavior

The command line interface "kaniko" should support a new flag --sign-by <id> to :

  • sign image just after building it
  • generate detached signature & push it to a remote sigstore

Benefits

Benefits are:

  1. Integrity
  2. Security
  3. One-stop-shop with kaniko for build process of images

Is this the right repository for this issue? I am not sure it applies to jenkins-spock.
