Feature Request: Case insensitive compset and grid names

We have had a request to make compset names and grid names insensitive to case.
I intend to implement this by translating all to upper case on input - does anyone have
an objection or concern?

I think it would be nice if output (e.g., to README.case) preserved the compset and grid names as entered by the user.

Okay - so case insensitive when comparing but retain the original format - a little harder but still doable I think.
