allow configuring if the TUI takes over the entire terminal #13

Right now, the TUI consumes the entire terminal. We should either

a) make the root element set to be 100% to consume the terminal completely
b) allow this configured somehow

Some really simple apps probably don't want to wipe the terminal/take it over completely.
