Feature suggestion: Increase difficulty #15

It would be nice if the difficulty would somehow increase over time.

The simplest possibility for this would be to start with 16 platforms (instead of 32) and add 2 platforms for every level.

Another one would be to add additional dangerous game elements.

Yeah, increasing the number of platforms has become a recurrent request and gonna be the next addition. My only concern is if it should stop at some point, and what maximum size it would be. Any ideas?

About adding more traps or similar stuff, I'm not quite sure if it would change too much the gameplay. I need to think about it a little more.

More ideas:

  • fall speed change (teach players how to fall precisely with a learning curve)
  • larger death zones (teach to do (up to) 180° rotations)
  • safe and death zones thinly stripped
  • moving walls (half and full hight)

Maybe let the ball loose substance by each hop, so that you have to complete a tower with a certain number of hops (before the ball vanishes completely).

That is an interesting mechanic, @MarkusF47, as it would make the player move quickly, and would be a nice challenge.
