Quad9 Resolvers - Invalid Signature Algorithm

Using the configuration provided by Quad9 results in a "Incompatible signature algorithm": is there a way to fix this ?

Hello,
just checked again the configuration files published by Quad9: they are still the same of mu original post
and they still don't work in dnscrypt-proxy because of the Incompatible signature algorithm

In case someone else is on fc40,
the rpm distributed there does not work,
while re-building from srpm or git works,
