New option requested in dirac-dms-user-lfns

Users would be able to select files more recent than a certain time, while currently only files older than a certain time can be obtained.
Adding a switch like "--Recent" could do the trick

I guess what is needed is an equivalent of the find unix command. Which other criteria for file selection can you think about ?

I am not thinking about new arguments as I don't use this command ;-). I just said that a few users wanted to select the most recent files and not the oldest... I would certainly avoid any syntax like the find command ;-)). I have not heard of any selection based on file names with wild-characters (yet)

LFC is certainly making close to impossible any find like functionality. I was rather thinking about what can be useful from the user perspective in the DFC. In DFC, the support for "find" like functionality is built in although it would be bettet not to count on miracles... In particular, find with file name wild cards can be done easily, efficiency is to be checked.

Any selection can be done with DFC with dirac-dms-find-lfns or equivalent COMDIRAC/dfind commands.
