Help! What happened? The option to show NO desktop icons is no longer available! Please get it back!
I have a favorite app that places a launcher in ~/Desktop, but I like my desktop clean. No icons of any kind for any purpose. And I can't get this thing to go away! GNOME used to have a switch for "Show icons on desktop," and now there is no GUI way to configure that option!
Using Ubuntu 23.04, pre-release (Wayland).
