Pressing 'm' on a comment is equivalent to clicking the "more comments" button. It only has an effect if you press it while you're on a comment with the "(# hidden)" indicator.
I think this should be investigated, it looks like there may be a bug here. Upon trying it, while it's supposed to go out and get the extra children of the comment, it seems like it's not working. The (# hidden) indicator does go away when you hit m, but no extra comments appear. This is the case for me, and I'm guessing that's what you were seeing too. Honestly, it's been so long since this code has been worked on that it's entirely likely Reddit's API may have changed slightly, resulting in this issue. I can tell you that it worked perfectly fine in the past with the same code.
When I hit m on comments screen it seems nothing happens. what is the purpose here?
Thanks,
